In many situations it seems like enough to film them and they back off, like here. For Joan Sebastian, shot and killed by ICE last Monday in Maine, he was driving and there weren’t many people around to intervene at 7am. Bystanders did film part of the incident after Joan had already been shot, and it’s part of the evidence against the crazy fuck that shot him. I don’t know how anybody could have stepped in based on what I saw.
I imagine myself witnessing situations like these so that I am ready.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t snapped yet and held an ICE agent hostage, I’m sure ICE agents would love their job even more when people start pulling guns on them more frequently and out of nowhere.
