Yeah, no every restaurant could afford to do so but at least they had a guaranteed income and work protections.

This bullcrap of being independent contractors where you’re at the complete mercy of the general pubic, which is on average full of horrible people in my opinion, and having to pay for your own wear and tear of your personal vehicle and no protections now from customers or the corporation is just another way to exploit the working class.
