The very idea of a mayor actually working for the people of their electorate isn’t gonna sit well with all the other mayors who think being mayor is all about doing nothing for the people of their electorate because they’re too busy accepting kickbacks from corporations.

Mayors are bastards sure, that’s a given. But it’s more important for the voters to realize they have power. they can pressure politicians. It ain’t easy, but it’s possible.
