When Graham appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program afterward, she attempted to recover by pivoting from her lack of national security knowledge to transgender athletes, as The Advocate reported.

“Of course, Taiwan is our friend,” Graham said. “But I think people in South Carolina are more worried about making ends meet. They are concerned about boys in girls’ sports.”

Trump continued that strategy Friday by making transgender people a central part of his argument for Graham. He attacked Andrews as a “far-left political hack who supports transgender for everybody” and accused her of telling “confused children they’re trapped in the wrong body.”

Trump may have conflated those medical procedures with agreements his Justice Department has forced on two major hospital systems. Those settlements require Texas Children’s Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic to establish or fund services for people who voluntarily seek to detransition. They do not order hospitals to perform surgery on anyone.

In May, Texas Children’s agreed to pay the state $10 million, end gender-affirming care for minors and establish what federal officials called the country’s first “restorative care” clinic for detransitioners. The Houston hospital also agreed to terminate five physicians connected to its transgender health program and permanently revoke their privileges, as The Advocate reported.

Looking at how many American men were circumcised in the last few generations, for no reason other than it being gently suggested by the government, Yes, apparently that’s the way it is.

People love forcing genital pain onto others to make themselves feel better, but hate it if others are allowed to do anything to their genitals themselves. I think it’s the abrahamic religions? Because that’s what they do there too.

And the king decreed make that one a male and that one a female. The people cheered, he was going to fix this gender problem once and for all. Gender was no longer determined by silly things like genetics, feelings, or facts. Only he could bestow it upon the masses.

At first people would bribe him for the privilege of a different sex. The corrupt king would pray on poor souls who didn’t fit in. Soon though, he realized his ultimate power. Humiliation.

“You are no longer male”, he would scream at a general or diplomat. “You are whatever I say you are”, the king would croak through his curled cruel smile as they were hauled away for forced gender change surgery.

Yep. A few years ago there was that whole spiel about how Democrats were putting litter boxes in public school classrooms so that the kids who identify as animals would have a place to relieve themselves. I heard someone actively talking about it while grocery shopping at one point.

Trump himself has claimed children are getting gender affirming surgery IN SCHOOL and I can tell you that there are men and women out there, this very year in 2026, who have made statements implying they would kill the teachers involved. Like, it’s complete fantasy, they just love to be angry and act tough about stuff that’s not happening and never will.

The litter box thing gets even better - the root of it was a school that did indeed have litter boxes in every classroom, meant for human use. But it had nothing to do with Therian kids identifying as cats. It was in response to the question “what if a kid needs to use the bathroom during an active shooter lockdown?”

MAGA thinks they smell blood in the water on the trans issue, so that’s their chosen wedge issue for the foreseeable future. I’m the past it was abortion, flag burning, kneeling, gay adoption, gay marriage, gay gayness, etc.

The proper answer to any trans nonsense is: “I am not a doctor, and I won’t presume to interfere with the medical decisions between any patient and their doctor, on any subject. I have absolutely no opinions on this subject, and do not consider it an appropriate subject for a political discussion. It is an appalling and indefensible political strategy to use any medical issue as a political talking point, so I’m not interested in your opinion either.”

That works for ANY medical issue, including abortion.

This type of thinking is just ingrained in Americans. It’s why the “sewer socialism” of Mamdani style politics is so important right now.

Americans are not use to having a government that actually functions. Their relationship with it is rightly defined by its exploitation of the working class in the interest of capital. Though they can’t really define it as such. But this “anit government” part is correct in a way. It’s just only answered with the wrong conclusion. That “less government and more private corporations freedom is the answer”. It’s the only answer they get in the media.

Fortunately, the bar for a “functioning government” is so low that even something as simple as the “pothole socialism” we’ve seen make Mamdani MORE popular is giving people a waking.

“Wait, government can actually do something to help me?”

It’s a lost concept; and I think even someone like your aunt could be shaken out of this type of thinking if they actually experienced it first hand.

She has the right right frustrations. It’s your job to direct he to the answer that you can show her materially improves her life. She’s just distracted be the false conclusion. She has the correct frustration though.

I’m still just shocked that you’ll see people say it is their “#1 issue” - like Megyn Kelly on Maher for instance - I saw some Republican say it again about some constituent recently, too.

If you are not trans or a parent of a trans, I don’t see how that is even possible to be so ridiculous, but the right always delivers on being disgusting, horrible and ridiculously hateful.

For everyone else - I guess we all have to suffer because the worst people in the world have decided to prioritize this over: clean air, clean water, climate change, upgrading to green energy, health care, education, science and tech leadership, safe streets, a job with rights and dignity that can support an entire family with one income, caring for the sick and the elderly with dignity, mental care, upgrading infrastructure, including mass transit, and on and on and on…

Instead, the conservatives are fixated on the stupidest possible shit. They are wilding the fuck out about Jefferson County having 60 men in women’s sports, a thing that isn’t even a thing.

Meanwhile, all of us are suffering out here from all kinds of shit that have nothing to do with fucking sportsball or the right’s stupid ideas about “gender ideology”.

I knew we were going to be hearing about this shit endlessly for two reasons, though - for one, they kept going on about how Michelle Obama really had a dong - sure it was a stupid conspiracy theory, but you could tell that many of them wanted that to somehow invalidate Obama’s administration because they view it as something that should be a crime. The other was the flurry of bathroom bill bullshit starting up nearly immediately after the conservatives lost the gay marriage issue in 2015.

Yes, I do absolutely know that lactation is sometimes induced in women. And you should try to read what I wrote instead of having an emotional reaction. I didn’t say they didnt “work” in trans women. I said there is no evidence that the resulting breast mild is “nutritionally identical”. And you weren’t able to provide any evidence of this.
There is barely any research at all:

Literature and protocols on lactation induction is scarce and merely based on case reports in cisgender women [6–10]. Research focussed on induction of lactation in transgender women is lacking and to our knowledge, only three case reports on lactation induction in transgender women have previously been published [4, 5, 11].>

But again, if you could calm down enough to read what I wrote, and not assume what I was saying, you could probably reply appropriately. Your linked article again, doesn’t say anything about “nutritionally identical”. It is adequate for co-feeding. And like all of these articles, says the benefit is primarily for the trans woman to feel psychologically satisfied. And if you are in such a rush, maybe you don’t need to capitalize every other letter. So, again, please provide a source on “nUtRiTiOnAlLy IdEnTiCaL”

The party of small government has always been the party of NO government. Because once democracy is gone, they can take over and do what they want. The south never stopped waging the civil war, they just kept waging it by other means. They always hated the Union, and because they weren’t stomped out completely they came back, like an infection when you don’t finish your antibiotics.

They want to destroy it, because they know that they cannot and will never be in charge as long as us, the common people have a say.

This is why I can’t get on board with anarchy. Who would protect us from the grandchildren of the confederacy, or the fourth reich?

Stable systems are worth maintaining when they protect us from far worse things. One of the big issues with the current situation is how severely it’s destabilizing the system. That’s their goal, as you state.

I’d much rather have incremental progress within an imperfect system, than a catastrophic failure followed by a gamble on what takes its place.

Honestly, nobody really “wants” anarchy. It’s just an intermediary stage. Remember the 1991 LA riots? People always say “if you want change, violence and burning down your own neighborhood is dumb”, but that is what anarchy is. It is a last resort. A total revolt against society. The social contract has been ripped in half- anything goes. If things burn, they burn. If they loot, they loot. If they kill, they kill. A suspension of all law and order. A reversion to the Hobbesian natural state- a life, nasty, brutish, and short. Because that is what happens when there is nothing left, when all other recourse has been thwarted and when supplication has failed over generations. On the most fundamental metaphysical level, society is a contract, and agreement. If the counter party does not uphold its part of the bargain, who the fuck are they to demand shit? Nope. We refuse. If they don’t uphold their end, why wouldn’t we stop? That’s how unions operate. We stand in solidarity with one another, because we want to cooperate. But if you can’t, if someone wants to subjugate you, or treat you unfairly, what are you to do? Play along? “Just pick yourself up by your bootstraps”, hey FUCK YOU, YOU pick yourself up of the blazing fire I am about to start if I’m not treated equally. Alas I wax revolutionary. But I’m really just trying to illustrate a point.

“You should have revolted with less violence!” is the weak retaliatory cry of the bourgeoisie.

I’d much rather have incremental progress within an imperfect system, than a catastrophic failure followed by a gamble on what takes its place.

You hit on an important topic here, because in a polarized world where everything is either black or white, and there are no grayscales, anything other than perfection is not good enough. Which is ridiculous. It’s like gun control issues, just to take an example- “if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns”. Yeah. Yeah, and that’s bad, we want to make sure to catch all the outlaws who have guns when they shouldn’t. I don’t know if that makes sense, it makes sense in my head right now, but ok, so let’s say… Let’s say some gun legislation cuts school shootings by 5%. Is that not enough? It isn’t. But it’s a fucking start. “Those laws don’t work” is such a dumb argument because that’s like saying “murder is illegal, yet people murder! Curious!”, they claim that if it’s not perfect, which it will never be, it’s useless.

“There is no bother voting, because both parties are bad. One is worse than the other, but they’re both bad, so I don’t vote.”

That is letting perfect be the enemy of good. “I support Kamala, but one of her cabinet members doesn’t pray five times daily towards Mecca, therefore I’d rather abstain, or vote Trump”. Like, how does that work in people’s heads? Surely we can acknowledge that progress is slow and imperfect. Surely it is better to take a step forward, than take one back.

Anyways, thanks for interacting, I appreciate if you read all that, if not, then that’s all good, too. One love. Peace upon mankind.

“The child is unruly and needs to be restrained, lest it hurts itself, or us.”

Never a question whether perhaps the parenting isn’t all that fucking great and there’s good reason to lash the fuck out.

            Just my $20.

Intermediate? Who do you think would come out on top after an extended time of might-makes-right and unhinged violence?

I think if you want me to answer you, you better address the whole idea I took time writing out with more effort than a single sentence ending in a question mark. Or two.

I didn’t get bottom surgery, but could I get a reverse surgery as an addition? Asking for a friend.
