That’s true. And there are embers of the same fires in Canada that I’m not out there fighting personally either. I’m mostly frustrated watching a country of mostly poor or barely-getting-by people permit billionaires and their pawns to walk all over them without even a hint of fear of repercussions. The billionaires should be terrified, but they’re on stages with chainsaws getting applauded while they rob the audience of healthcare and other social safety nets. I, and the world, are waiting for the American people to clap back but every day I lose hope that it’ll ever happen.

If we’re talking about appearances, it appears from the outside as though the entirety of America doesn’t care about the law, given how blatantly everyone’s been breaking them without so much as a finger wagged.
