Maybe the thieves just wanted to live out their retirement years sloshed on really good plonk. Not everything that’s stolen use-sold. Most, sure. Nearly all, likely. But not everything.
I mean, if I wanted a good, lifetime supply of “fruit juice that burns”, this would certainly be one viable option. Across 7 thieves and assuming a bottle a day, this would be close to a 12 year supply for each of them. Longer, if they could keep consumption down to a dull roar.
