You can just put a normal sock/cloth on them for that.
And the flock guys will just simply remove it and you have spent money on making that fancy cover. You can straight up smash it with the same shovel/stick that it shows in the video instead of dressing it up.
Cameras are often built with replaceable lenses. If you’re going to do damage, make it count. A metal bat to the side, one good swing… that’s all you really need.

I’m not from the US. But we have similar things where I’m from and most of them are destroyed, even though the penalty might be death.

Clean the lenses cover with acetone. You’re doing a public service keeping that lenses clean and crisp.
