You’ll almost never see federal murder charges unless the victim is a federal politician or judge. And he wasn’t charged with murder federally in this case either.
The charges he pleaded guilty to carry up to a life sentence each already.
It may takes decades, but eventually, a Gen Z president will pardon him. Luigi knows this.
