Agents killed someone they are entirely happy to have killed. As far as ICE is concerned, this was a job well done.

EVERYTHING we hear out of this administration should be assumed to be a lie. If you hear job numbers from them, then they have been manipulated. If they are bad numbers, that only means the real numbers were far worse.

Homeland security officials said Mr. Araujo had tried to use his vehicle as a weapon, though no video or other evidence for that claim has emerged.
I am mighty sick of hearing this lie.
You would think ICE would realize at this point that standing in front of a vehicle is a bad idea but maybe that’s the point. Stand in front of the vehicle and any movement can be viewed as an attack and they can open fire.
That’s the thing. While some agencies do, I think, intentionally put themselves in harm’s way just so they can shoot someone, ICE is different. They don’t bother with that, probably because their so chicken-shit they don’t want to take a chance that the car might really come at them. ICE just makes this claim, over and over, and then when a video finally comes out, you can see that they were standing next to the car and shooting in through the side windows.
Same. It immediately rang those alarm bells for the last time this happened, they claimed they were hit and you see the footage of the ice agent going “let’s do this” and jerking the wheel to slam into the other car.
