China, whatever it is, doesn’t wage direct wars abroad and kidnap random presidents. Well, for now, at least. But seeing there is no accountability, they will certainly consider it much more seriously.
They’re openly threatening to invade another country and they’re in a hybrid war with almost all their neighbours. Plus, they’ve been enabling the Russian war in Ukraine from day one. They’re not in a position to be starting wars just yet but it’s certainly not for lack of trying. And you can ask the Uighurs the Tibetans, the Mongols and a lot of others what they think about this.
