While that’s true, it’s a low bar. Ideally artists get some meaningful payments. There is also an issue how they count streams, do they count them correctly etc. From what I remember, it’s very shady.

China, whatever it is, doesn’t wage direct wars abroad and kidnap random presidents. Well, for now, at least. But seeing there is no accountability, they will certainly consider it much more seriously.
But of course they do, their shareholders wouldn’t like it otherwise. Capitalism 101. 🤷
