An Israeli surveillance technology firm has run a large-scale operation to infect mobile phones with spyware using online advertisements to hack the devices, researchers said on Thursday.

The US considers them to be the same country, that’s what merging militaries actually means. The US and Israel are effectively the same country at this point in history.
