I’ve never seen a GenZ manager give a shit about sitting down. Most millennials don’t either. The only ones I’ve seen who do are from some kind of generational trauma passed on as “traditional”.
Pretty sure there are petty tyrants in every generation, at the very least cops, but I was getting at the fact it’s not for boomer pleasure. It’s because someone in the hierarchy decided it was a good idea, probably to indulge their power fantasies, manager, manager’s manager etc.
