Yes, on their own. Although I wouldn’t be able to tell different varieties of lavender apart.

Smells the same as any other perfume to me.
(Seriously though, I half think that people only believe they have different scents because they’re told so by ads.)
Ok, makes sense to me as an explanation. You have my gratitude.
It doesn’t explain the final version at all.
(Also in my client at the moment mine is the top comment, positional language doesn’t work here)
Ok, what does it mean? I see the reference to John Denver, but don’t know enough to get it.
I’ve been on the Internet too long. Genuinely didn’t notice anything wrong until I went to the comments and then went back and looked at it again.

“New car battery promises 800 miles”
(I hate that one so much. Range depends on how much battery the car has in it, any decent chemistry can get any reasonable number with the right configuration, so the numbers are meaningless and incomparable.)

Yup. Don’t use it though, it way stresses the oven and makes them break faster.
Much lower than the number for humans.
"One sperm contains about 3.3 billion base pairs, stored in DNA. Each base pair is two bits of data, for a total of 787MB of data per sperm. With somewhere around 280 million sperm per ejaculation, that means a single load contains about 220,000 terabytes of data. That’s a lot of information to swallow. "
She’s a TV show character played by a (now) well known actress/singer named Miley Cyrus. In the show “Hannah Montana” is actually her stage name as a singer, and the character’s ‘real’ name is something else.
… Ok, I actually did check the wiki and they did something pretty funny. Her character’s name in the show is Miley Stewart, and her father in the show is named Robby Ray Stewart, played by the actress’s actual father Billy Ray Cyrus, who is himself a famous singer in real life.

2·2 months agoYeah, apartment buildings would tend to be much more than 3 alarm. As a metaphor the phrase is also from older language when more people were in single family homes.

17·2 months agoA “3 Alarm” fire is one big enough to send 3 fire trucks, and in a Boston accent with an extra “a” at the end it would vaguely sound like “3 L llama”
