Nixon fell on his sword for a reason. At some point this is all going to come back around on every Republican, every corporation, and every individual who enabled or appeased this utter idiot.
That’s an amount of optimism I can’t muster. After realizing there is no opposition party in the US, and understanding the ratchet effect of Republican policies over decades, I think maybe we get one more democratic term with no real reform and then it is full unbridled fascism until the civil war.
