    Accurate.

I don’t understand how there are so many Christians these days. It feels like it’s has a resurgence recently.

You mean people who call themselves Christian or people who follow the examples of Jesus?

I’m asking because I’ve got the impression that many of those right wing nationalists do pretty much the exact opposite of what Jesus preaches.

Most of these people think that going to church makes you Christian. In the same way that standing in my garage makes me a car.

        It’s actually just tribalism.

Both, but I’m thinking more so of the average person. I’ve been seeing more displays of it everywhere from online socials to irl. Suddenly there’s more cars with Christian nonsense on them or you check profiles in what was a very left leaning space only to see bibe verses.

Jesus was fine with torturing and murdering all sorts of people.

You do know He promised to come back and murder everybody, right? While the Christians watch from Heaven, smiling.

Those are the people “left behind”. After all the Christians are safe up in Heaven, Jesus comes down to Earth with His Holy Army of legions of Angels. They will murder all of the non-Christians, and the lake of blood will be miles wide and “as deep as a horse’s bridle”. (Revelation describes the Apocalypse in great detail).

Then the murdered non-Christians will burn in Hell for all time (with all of the other non-Christians from the history of the Earth, many billions of people). The vast majority of humanity to ever exist will experience eternal torture.

Christians can watch their torture from Heaven, and listen to their torment, too, and talk to them as they are tormented. They can even smell them… God loves the smell of burning flesh like incense (that’s why there were animal sacrifices before Jesus).

Over the centuries, Christians have focused on just a few words from Jesus, especially when proselyting and for “public relations”. The vast majority of people have no idea of the awful truth in the Bible. Many Christians don’t even read it. I have 12 years of Bible studies from Catholic, Assembly of God, and Baptist schooling. Everything I have said has accompanying scripture.

… and the Middle East, too, including Israel (Jew) and the surrounding nations (Muslim)

(all of these faiths are Abrahamic with much of the same core belief system. They all think that they are the ‘Chosen People’, but there can be only one Chosen People, many of them can’t abide “the other”, and want them all to die)

It might have. A lot of these people I’m seeing picking it up are women.
