The debate. hosted by The Boston Globe in Boston, was the latest contest in what has been a bruising race between the two well-known Massachusetts Democrats.

    Senator Ed Markey:

“There’s a reason why the Human Rights Campaign has endorsed me in this race. There’s a reason why the Christopher Street Project, the transgender community, has endorsed me in this race, and it’s because you threw those trans kids under the political bus, and you met with family members after you had made those very hurtful comments, and those families — they were hurt after they left that meeting,” Markey shot back, adding:

They said how hurt they were, and it was only two weeks ago that you finally apologized. But that’s almost two years later. Those families were hurting. They were in pain. And especially if a Democrat from Massachusetts is leading the attack upon them, then that’s why those communities have my back in this race, because I had their back during their toughest time.

    Thank you, senator.

      From a different debate:

Seth Moulton: “In the newly released Epstein files, your name appears repeatedly. I’m not going to get into all the details, but I do want to ask one question,” he said. “Why would you even take a meeting with a lobbyist on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein?”

“What you are doing right now is absolutely reprehensible,” Markey responded, seemingly stunned by the question.

Moulton’s campaign searched through the Department of Justice’s Epstein Library and found that, in 2015, a lobbyist claimed to have met with Markey in an email that was later forwarded to Epstein. That lobbyist was not advocating for Epstein, but for his friend, Karim Wade, the son of a former Senegalese president who had been imprisoned for corruption, and Epstein was footing the bill for the lobbying effort.

Two days later, Markey’s campaign told GBH News that it checked the calendars of the senator and his staff at the time, and that no such meeting occurred.

Seth Moulton seems like a gross person. I really hope he doesn’t get elected for Senator.

Thank you Ed Markey 💜 I don’t live in his state, but I would be proud to have him represent me

And Seth Moulton can jump in a lake for all I care

Markey is an excellent senator. He’s just so old… I wish he had retired instead of running again.

That said, Markey still got my vote over the steaming pile of shit that is Moulton.

Didn’t Moulton make a run for President in 2020 and never got enough traction to even qualify for the debates?

I just said this in another post. But most people, including on the left, have reservations about biological males in women’s sports. And it is not an issue that isn’t “statistically relevant,” but even offering that as a reason why it is okay means it is only okay because just a few women and girls are impacted.

And the issue isn’t even thought through. It makes as much sense to divide sports by gender identity as it would by dividing sports by sexual orientation. What do either of these “internal states” have to do with sports performance?

But what if they tied for 5th place? I think that might be a pretty big deal, actually.

Trans people are not robots, we are all biological. The term you are looking for is trans women in women’s sport.

No, because I am also referencing girls sports. And those who don’t identify as “trans” such as “non-binary” etc. And “biological males” refers to males-by-biology, which now has to be specified as there is no other word that correlates to biological sex.

Non-binary people are still trans, they are not a right wing dog whistle/slur of “biological male”.

I tried giving you the benefit of the doubt, but your 20hr old account post history is so full of “Soft” ant-trans rhetoric that what you are is telling.
