  • The BBC responded to the trust Wednesday in a court filing opposing the request to pause the order, arguing it “is a transparent effort to evade this Court’s clear and direct order and to continue to avoid the discovery obligations that Plaintiff took on when he chose to file this lawsuit.”

Wouldn’t someone in the US with a passing familiarity of lawsuits and who has been in court innumerable times have an inkling about the discovery phase?

I recognize President Pedophile is incredibly stupid, in addition to being a horrible human being. But I’m struggling to see how he could have made this mistake. Additionally, he has lawyers. This is incredible.

Good on the BBC for fighting this.

  • Miller’s attorney, Aaron Minc, took responsibility in a statement to CNN for the image being included in the link.

“Unfortunately, I missed the last three pages of a 40+ page document with sensitive content,” Minc said in the statement. “It was completely unintentional and a mistake. The moment I discovered the issue on Monday morning, I corrected the file immediately.”

Minc said he made “multiple passes” through the documents to ensure that no potentially sensitive details, including the child’s name, were included in their public release. But the child’s name was included dozens of times in an earlier version of the public file seen by CNN, along with details about payments to medical providers and several images of their daughter.

    Oopsies.

Somehow, I feel that Minc is just covering for Miller.

the Ohio congressman said one of his primary motivations for airing out his divorce and child custody disputes was to safeguard their young child.

Yes, to protect his own child, he thought it would be best to just air out all the dirty laundry of the divorce on Twitter, setup a publicly accessible folder with sensitive images of his child, and also dox her.

You know, I think I can understand why President Pedophile likes this guy.

  • “Yesterday, you enabled your client, Congressman Max Miller, to share and disseminate to the public an electronic Dropbox folder of materials,” Chandra wrote, as reported by New York Times congressional correspondent Annie Karni. “This was in conjunction with a video rant about our client, Emily Moreno, that Miller posted on X.”

The first version of the folder contained private images of Miller and Moreno’s daughter, with the child’s name left unredacted, the letter says.

To counter his ex-wife’s statements, this Republican made sensitive pictures of him and his young daughter accessible to the Internet. He also ranted about everything on Twitter.

“At least one of those images could be considered Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) because the daughter’s genitals appear to be visible,” the filing says.

There appear to have been many views on the post:

The post garnered over 204,000 views before images were removed from a second version of the folder, the letter says.

    And then the attorney continues…

The filing asks whether the images were removed because someone “realized that it was ill-advised (and, in the case of the potential CSAM image, illegal) to share these images with the world.”

“How many people accessed and downloaded the intimate image, and each of the other images of the child, including one in which her chest is exposed?” the letter demands.

I can’t imagine how the abuser will respond - or how he ever thought that any of this was sound in the first place.

Not that his father-in-law, another Ohio Republican, isn’t a total piece of shit himself. But you already likely heard.
