Even if the oligarchs trip balls and have a revelation of cosmic unity, when they come down they’ll just integrate whatever parts of it make sense within their worldview and dismiss the rest as just trippy drug nonsense.

So in a sense it might actually make them worse, by further cementing the patterns that are already established in their neural pathways.
