      Id argue that for a lot of them they effectively were forced by economics, misinformation, and propaganda. The thing is a lot of these guys got in at 18 because it’s the only way out of a bad situation, hell I was almost tempted to do it as well though I’m too introspective and autistic to think it wouldn’t be a waste of time. But yeah a lot of these guys are distinctly missing the informed side of the informed consent concept IMO.
