        The common wisdom (at least in the US college I attended) for the youngest acceptable age gap for a person is to halve their age then add 7 years. So for a 24 year old, 19 is as young as their partner can acceptably be in a relationship.

          Common wisdom my ass. Its stupid is what it is. Relationships are always more complex than a math formula with one variable…

          I haven’t personally heard this math, and I think it’s ick and prudish personally. But you’re taking a risk getting into a relationship with someone under 25. She FAFO lol

            Well, it’s the minimum socially acceptable age.

            A 38 year old dating a 26 year old? I don’t think there’s anything socially unacceptable about that.

            25 though? Well I should just call Chris Hansen right now.
