With what’s harkening in the UK would that also be a heat dome? I only ask because that page says that it prevents precipitation but over here we’ve had hailstones 3 times and rain a whole bunch in very short bursts but once it stops it’s dried up before the end of the hour and it’s just as if not hotter than before.
Apart from Global Warming, what explains the crazy high temperature? No wind? Too many mountains blocking weather? Why is it so hot?

If I understood correctly, the UK was hit by the edges of the dome which can bring some quite turbulent weather.
