I love fireworks more than dogs. There i said it.
I fail to understand time and time again how people can tolerate those little annoying squeakers. They aren’t even cute ffs.
That being said, firecrackers just suck. Animals, babies, the elderly, folks sensitive to loud noises, folks with war related PTSD, the environment, all of this has to suffer because “oooo prettyyyyy”.
There are other forms of celebration and entertainment that do not have such negative externalities. Example: the opening ceremony of Paris 2024.

My mom has a small dog that isn’t a yapper. They are companion animals. I don’t get what confusing about that. It’s the same as why someone might have any other type of pet. I’ve actually much preferred small, non-yappy dogs over large dogs because they are super easy to handle.
Tiny dog breeds are animal cruelty. So much inbreeding, it’s most certainly is not cute, I agree.
That’s why I’m glad we banned consumer fireworks in my country now.

Yeah they are, but it’s also selfish as fuck as they aren’t exactly quiet or discrete. Have some respect for neighbours, because while some are just getting pissed off with the noise, others could be having PTSD triggered or who knows what else.
Not just the neighbors but the wildlife. Those poor birds… 😞
And they leave trash everywhere, because people are not picking up after themselves
