it means that the transition from evangelical child to edgy teen atheist to normal functional adult puts you at a crossroads much like the dichotomy presented in this meme. when i was 19 years old i did indeed have to choose whether to mock spiritual people, or “wrong” people in general. it was in fact a pretty witch who convinced me not to do this, and as a result i spent the next 10 years learning how to be normal to people who do not share one iota of my relationship with truth. Nearly 20 years later i do still enjoy talking to witches, in fact i can’t resist it. i maintain a staunch secular humanism, which serves as a narrative anchor for anyone who wants to manipulate me with their magic spells.

A practitioner of magic without doctrine. Chaotes draw techniques and schemas from many different sources including paganism, psychology, and pop culture. We use whatever works to get the results we want, it doesn’t have to form a unified belief system.

Many of us don’t believe there’s any such thing as an objective reality. Everything is subjective, which means we can use every subjectivity for its benefits and move between them freely.

Permanence isn’t forever. Sorry your comment had me laughing in my head about the idea of object permanence truly meaning forever and it not being relative/subjective.

The learning dictionaries available on F-Droid don’t behave as intelligently as Google’s stuff. As a result I guess I look like an idiot to the sort of people I would have been.

Oh man story of my life. Woah. It often makes me think of the saying…

“As he received his trophy, the plucky quarterback unfolded the story of how he ‘came back’. He said ‘They say behind every great man there’s a woman. While I’m not a great man, there’s a great woman behind me.’”

From my perspective, the Witch in my story doesn’t want to talk to me anymore. None the less words cannot express my gratitude for her setting me on the path I am on now. I still feel like I owe her an apology letter. 🤔

tl:dr Males 13-25 stop “teasing” or “joking” rudely with girls and women. You will most likely regret it. Dearly.

You’re so right. Being right is so much less important then tact if you want to keep touch with kind people.

I’m a mobile user with a FOSS keyboard system. When I was using android it did it all for me.
