    You can still do that i think lol – docker is basically an engine, the docker folks make sure docker is compatible with all different sorts of hardware, and you just make sure your software is compatible with docker.

      Yeah kimd of. Docker is a container management system. Like a Virtual Machine except it isn’t a whole OS being used to host each “virtual machine,”. it connects a closed container to the kernel. So you have a container with a specific stripped down app inside it that you can connect to.

      Architecture has to match though.

        Right, no i know my comment was a gross oversimplification, just tried to explain it in a way someone who doesn’t know anything about it could start researching more about it.
