And that’s the only correct thing in your reply. Since we have that system by design, what in the world makes you think the people who designed it would ever allow you to use it to vote away their wealth and power?

I’m just saying that short a constitution convention to change it, we have what we have and it’s never going to change because structurally it can’t change… So we work within the system to fix it, but that requires incremental change, not something people seem to embrace…

Vote the furthest left in EVERY election, and we get that incremental change. If we give up and walk away, the right wins and nothing changes.

We need to figure out how to bring Progressives and Democrats together

Under the banner of a revolutionary socialist party that isn’t interested in asking at the ballot box for permission to stop fascism.

Still won’t work… short of violent revolution, which might result in some short-term changes but doesn’t change the constitution. What we need is a constitutional convention, which doesn’t happen until 34 states agree to it… I don’t see that happening, modern Americans can’t agree on the color of shit these days.

Like it or not, Democrats have the fundraising, and fundraising wins elections

And if you can’t see how that implies that the Democrats are just as much a part of the problem as Republicans, then I’m not sure there’s any hope for you.

They’re the best of the two evils. Still evil, but they’re not going anywhere so I’m not feeling like wasting my time tilting at windmills. See my point about incremental change.
