memes@lemmy.world•How will the chuds, gooners and snobs who fansplains in pedantic verbosity over a Sci fi movie misconception respond with trying to think of anything clever to say now?English
2·3 days agoIt does for me now as well. But I’ve got gifs shared in my channel on 6/28 and 6/29 with the URL still hosted on Tenor, which I know came from the built-in gif browser, so it may not have been applied to all clients at the same time. Could have been in an A/B state, or maybe different app versions between OS types.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Self-hosted keypass fork recommendationEnglish
11·4 days agoJust don’t count on the current Bitwarden client being compatible with Vaultwarden forever. Bitwarden’s new CEO is pushing to make more profit wherever possible, and recently rescinded the statement from the company’s website that the client would be free forever.
They’ll never be able to walk back the open source nature of the product, but they can choose to make their client incompatible with Vaultwarden and push for the centrally hosted option as the only option.
Not sure if anyone’s forked the Bitwarden client yet, but that’s how I’d start using Vaultwarden if the option exists.
Or, you know, skip the headache and just start using Keepass.

politics @lemmy.world•US Supreme Court upholds birthright citizenship in blow to Trump
21·4 days agoAnd it still should not have come down to a 6-3 decision, or 5-4 as with the other decision on mail in ballots. We can’t rely on Amy Coney Barrett oscillating between lunacy and sanity as the deciding factor on such important decisions. The three dissenters on this case absolutely need to go.

14·5 days agoHas it? My Discord channel shows me a Tenor gif I posted just yesterday that I shared using the native search.
If they are using Klipy, it must be a hybrid solution at the moment.

1·6 days agoGotta show that you’re not afraid to turn against the regime from time to time to keep the asking price high.
This.
I will say it’s not enough to sway me to get a PS5, but I have to admit that God of War, Wolverine, the upcoming Naughty Dog game, Ghost of Yotei, etc. are still something I’ll feel bad not having a chance to play.
I’m still devastated that the Demon’s Souls remake won’t be coming to PC, and that’s on top of the salt in the wound we’ve had for over a decade now with Bloodborne (though thankfully fan ports of that one are actually getting to a very stable and playable state).
