  • There is a kind of irony in people that believe these things. Like, the usage of terminology and phrases like Blue MAGA, shitlib, anarkiddie, etc. isn’t dissimilar to how MAGA voters act and treat people they deem as their enemy. The point is to create an us vs them mentality, and it is a typical cult tactic.

I would argue that it’s less that they’re trying to make anything happen, and more to signal membership in their cult. Because it IS a cult. The people they are attacking with this tactic are, and I cannot stress this enough, not the rich oligarchs that would actually be the source of their problems (including this one, if they believe that protests are insufficient, since it would be the rich oligarchs spreading the information that they do, so it’s not really the protestors that are the problem, but that’s a logical take on an illogical stance.)

The point is that it is sad that they might have more in common with the average MAGA voter than they would care to admit.

  • Unfortunately, even with their small context windows, useless matrices, and lowly statistical representions of language segments, they are better at debugging, brainstorming, “coding”, and answering questions than a lot of people, let alone “the dumbest mother fucker on the planet”.

That’s why those people do not code or do those other things, and, surprisingly, most of those people don’t suddenly think they are now better than a person who has done… Just… The smallest amount of actual training to become good at that thing.

You got that AI psychosis in you, buddy. Ask your AI friend for the nearest person to get you the hell away from it.

If only telling you how brainwashed you are would actually fox things. Let me know when you have enough tokens to reply to me.

  • You’ve used it once 2+ years ago and wrote it off completely. Do you also still do your laundry with a wasboard and clothesline? Is the Internet just a fad also?

I just don’t get why people like you exist. You guys have the stupidest fucking arguments for why not wanting to use the regurgitation machine that murders the environment and causes people to kill themselves is bad.

But, like, do you still use NFTs? That was the future. It was so the future. Same fucking arguments from the same fucking mouth-breathing dipshits.

And using AI does not even make you faster or better at what you do. It can increase output, and it can cause you to do a shit job, and it can falate your ego so you think you are soooo much better and bigger than everyone else, you big strong muscly man, you. You’re basically just saying that workers can never and should never have any fucking downtime, ever. They cannot stop. They must always, always produce, more and more. And, like, fuck all the way off. You don’t need to output more. You do not need to be faster. You don’t need AI, even if it was as good as people pretend it is, which it is not!

Because AI sucks. It isn’t good at anything other than replicating an amalgamation of the data that is fed into it. Anyone that says it is good at any other thing is just shit at that specific thing and doesn’t know any better. LLMs are just huge giant matrices full of coefficients matching language segments. They don’t know jackshit. They have relatively small context windows compared to even the dumbest motherfucker on this planet and people working on making LLMs better are running out of shortcuts to make them better. The money they have been lent needs to start making it back. And they can’t make money because they are subsidizing everyone using AI with that venture capital because it still hasn’t made a fucking dime yet.

Don’t worry, guys. We just need to keep feeding more data into it! It’s so much better, guys, I swear! This one won’t hallucinate all the time, bro, I swear! Just one more model, it’s so close!

  • There are absolutely no robots doing surgery autonomously. That would be one of the most insane things to do from a moral standpoint, but also from a liability standpoint. Every robot that exists for surgery is highly specialized and rigorously tested and trained upon for obvious reasons.

But, then to come out and say that AI is more accurate than doctors is also incorrect. That is simply not true. An AI can, in highly controlled settings and for specific diagnoses, at its best do not even as well as a specialist in the field, and that is for highly curated tests that give the AI as many advantages as it can get. Again, at best, it can act as a second opinion currently.

Like, it is hard to take people seriously about AI when they lie about its best case scenario. It sucks at everything except killing the environment and getting people to kill themselves, and even if everything all of its defenders said about it was true, it is still a nightmare.

  • Yeah, I also think it’s completely fair to criticize me for not knowing something. Seriously, if I don’t know something, feel free to let me know because how else am I gonna learn it if I don’t know?

Like, I don’t want it to sound like I’m making a joke, I’m not a genius, I can’t recognize every warning sign for what it is, I don’t know a whole lot about a whole lot, and a lot of my knowledge is learned by people telling me something, me researching a few things pretty casually, and me thinking about a few things. I’ve unlearned several things I thought was true, and I might even have to unlearn some of those when I find out that’s wrong. I don’t want you to think that’s a point of pride, I want the pride to be that I’m open to being wrong, and I’m going to defend what I think is right against what I think is wrong.

So, like, open season for you. Have at.

  • If your excuse is that things can be doctored and faked, then it kinda feels like you’ve already made up your mind on this. You don’t seem like you care what the evidence is.

Like, if you’re gonna not care, at least don’t be a coward about it. I get that people won’t like you, but be more brazen in your misogyny so that people will avoid and dislike you sooner!

Also, just to start a fire for fun, Amber Heard was abused, even if she wasn’t a perfect victim. It’s pretty well-documented, and Johnny Depp is a piece of shit. I don’t like that she returned the abuse, but that happens a lot in abusive relationships.

  • … Yes, I believe I must apologize for your misunderstanding. I had assumed the context would make it obvious per quod that I think rape is actually really fucking bad, and that the response was meant to point out that I don’t really think the race or gender of the person being raped particularly matters in that regard, but I can see that media literacy has taken one last breath this day.

You see, ol’ boy, there’s this thing in English that we do called irony, and I understand it’s a bit of an advanced maneuver, but, boy howdy, do I like it too much to quit. You’ll have to take a bit of a step on this, but trust that this was pretty fucking lathered up in it. Otherwise, please scour my comment history for where you think I think rape is A-okay, and we can have a discussion about it! Mmkay, pumpkin? Okay.

I hope that clears it up for you.

  • If you murder someone in the defense of yourself or someone else, you’re still a murderer. Like, by definition, you murdered someone. We, as humans, typically excuse murder in these cases. That’s why self-defense is a legal and viable defense for murder. You are still a murderer for it, but it is excused because you did it out of some necessity. They ended someone’s life, but are they dangerous to be around?

That whole thing doesn’t exist for rape. That’s why it’s a worse crime and not excusable. That’s the point.

That’s why people are willing to excuse things like being a soldier or having a Nazi tattoo or even being a mercenary, but not raping someone.

  • I don’t think MeToo failed. It succeeded in making known how prevalent sexual assault was. And it allowed women, including this women, to come forward with her story.

I do think MeToo could never really fight against sexual assault in its entirety because it wasn’t aimed at the perpetrators. It was aimed at the victims, to tell them they weren’t alone, that it was okay to talk about their experiences, that they had people that understood them.

And that is a great first step! But to really fight sexual assault, you need to aim at the those that commit assault as well.

You need to have them listen to the stories of the victims. You need to have them hear their pain that they have and continue to cause. You need to have them reconcile what they have done with who they are. It is not enough to prop up and help the victims. You also have to reform and help the offenders.

And that sounds a little crazy, that somehow the offenders are due some sort of relief for the crimes they have done. I don’t want anyone reading that to think that they don’t owe their victims some form of becoming whole again. Only that there has to be a movement aimed at the offenders of sexual assault to truly fight against it.
