Apple does some things well, Windows does some different things well, and increasingly, for the everyday users who mostly thought those were the only two choices, Linux does some things well.
It’s all about what you, the user, care about.

Damnit, you were supposed to be here three comments ago!

Valid.

Yep, everyone updoot this so the ones who come after can stop reading at the top comment.

We trained him wrong, as a joke!
Oh shit, I have glasses! Thx for reminding me.
It’s really good imo. Love me some breadfruit. Taro too. That and fresh coconuts are what I miss about Samoa.

Some of the other people saying that were just out of hope, like me.
This example, and the other wins from the DSA, are giving me a bit of hope again.

In America, that is incredibly radical.
However, this is one of a string of incredible wins for the DSA, and I am very glad. As someone who has for a long time been despondent about electoral political change, it is a sign that the alternative - armed resistance and civil war - will not be necessary.
We should all support the DSA as much as we can if we do not want to see entire neighbourhoods on fire, civilians being slaughtered by the thousands, or all the other horrible shit that is inevitable in war.
Nah, man, it’s a good theory but I know a guy who wore shorts in Antarctica. 30 years ago, too, not the pussy above freezing summers we get now. Totally mad outdoorsman, loves the cold. He’s not the only one, either.
Remember, moving warms you up. That’s why skiers can wear those sexy Ned Flanders outfits and not die. Even though they are insulating, they’re only good for people doing exercise.
Edit: And then there’s me, a guy who hates exercise and loves summer, because of all that beautiful cheery sunlight. Goddamn SAD.

Well, that shows the importance of scrutinising every action of all our public officials. He is clearly doing everything he can get away with.
However, the Elon comparison is a bit much. Let’s compare him to a more representative billionaire like Bill Gates, who polished his rep for a little while with huge seemingly philanthropic actions, until getting caught being a massive creep and a much less generous philanthropist than people thought.

If a bad person has the intelligence and foresight to consistently do a bunch of good things to gain our respect so that we vote for them, and continue to do those things while in power so that we continue to vote for them, why should we care if they are a bad person?

Why would you bother to hide it if you won’t be punished and you literally have no shame?
Come on, mate, Lao is only one language, it can’t be that hard. 😄
