What are you talking about? They said they’re marginalized person and nothing specifically about being a liberal. They said they would die for anti-fascism pretty much and you’re calling them a Nazi?

Their take has the politics of like the bleakest possible form of defeatism: giving up and letting it happen to you, while hoping that something good might come out of you being steam-rolled. They’re not a fascist.

Idk sometimes people gravitate to the most hopeless political positions they can find and adopt them because if suffering is inevitable, then you’re more able to accept it on your terms and it feels more manageable. There’s a good quote somewhere I can’t remember that says the apocalypse has become an escapist fantasy from the real world.
