3034·21 hours agoHey, so long as you don’t use X, any Meta product, Google, or Amazon, (or any Musk-infected garbage, obvs), or Protonmail then sure, cancel Mullvad and trash talk the guy silly.
However. I very much doubt that’s the case.
If it’s not the case, that means this is performative. a.k.a. Bullshit.
I hope Mullvad buys him out, distances themselves as far as possible. But they are far from the only tech company with some right wing cunt mixed up with them. If you’re gonna be pure you gotta go full-stack FOSS and a lot of us aren’t there yet. So let’s not pretend like all of us are.

politics @lemmy.world•As nation turns 250, many Americans say the Stars and Stripes is now a red flag
0·2 days agoI had this conversation with an American recently. They said their country had become an embarrassment and source of anger for all of his people. They were absolutely against almost everything the government had been doing for years. They still loved what it was supposed to stand for, but had no idea how to show it or even if to show it.
Tap for spoiler
It was a Jewish-American, they were talking about Israel.

Technology@lemmy.world•Hacktivist deletes white supremacist websites live on stage during hacker conferenceEnglish
1·6 months agoRoot also published the data allegedly scraped from WhiteDate online.
The hacker said that they scraped WhiteDate’s public data and found “poor cybersecurity hygiene that would make even your grandma’s AOL account blush.” Root said that users’ images included precise geolocation metadata that “practically hands out home addresses with a side of awkward selfies.”
“Imagine calling yourselves the ‘master race’ but forgetting to secure your own website — maybe try mastering to host WordPress before world domination,” Root wrote.

Bullshit Barbie wording it up bigly, the greatest communicationalistic ever, believe me
