No it isn’t. The core of his argument is that fascism is here and it will not be stopped without violence. Historically speaking, he’s right. Arming yourself in anticipation of an inevitable conflict that will come for you (unless you’re the whiteright kind of people) is only prudent.

Well I vote in primaries for progressives which is really the only way to both hold our representatives accountable and also wield power for ourselves. It’s literally the only way to hold the DNC accountable, by replacing them and building a truly progressive party. And then you keep republicans out in the general at all costs, which means voting dem. Everything else gets republicans elected. That’s the reality.

A shocking number of lemmings put their comments through an LLM before posting, and a lot of them comment on basically every rising thread too. You start to recognize recurring usernames before long. Lot of em use sockpuppets too since you’ll always see their comments with the same number of upvotes. I don’t think they realize up and down votes are public. Anyway, yeah like half the users here use a gpt for their comments.

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s a coordinated plan to shore up power and resources before the inevitable climate collapse. Amoc is shutting down, we’ll likely have a blue ocean event in the next decade, and we were already in one of the most significant extinction events in planetary history. It’s gonna get real real bad.

They would probably be talked about online and in the news after they happened, if they were happening. But they aren’t really, are they? That’s kind of the point. We all know why us US Americans aren’t doing anything, but that’s not really important since we’re still not doing anything.

A general strike is more or less impossible in the US. It would need to be coordinated across multiple key industries in every state, you’d need basically every shipping company and truck driver on board, and it would have to last for weeks. It’s simply not a thing that can actually realistically happen in the US.
