I think 30 percent will allow it as long as their team wins. 30 percent will cover their heads and hope it goes away, and the majority of remaining folks feel overwhelmed or too helpless, or just don’t know what they can do as one person to make a difference. The cynical part of me thinks that there is a different reason for implementing this, and that any bot that drives engagement is valuable to the platform owners.

Since CEOs and leadership have demanded AI to be used in absolutely everything, what happens if there’s a chain reaction and they all go rogue cyber attacking each other until every digital asset ever made is corrupted. Hiding and copying themselves past air-gapped networks. No more digital records, no banks, no assets, no debts, no communication?

Normally I’d say this is the realm of conspiracy theories, but updating the people that a US senator is supposed to be actively leading on his basic ability to represent them is such a low bar to achieve that suddenly it all smells fishy.

I used to think the World War two depictions of horrors the Nazis were doing to ethnic minorities and their acceptance by the general populace was indulged by the filmmakers and revisionist historians, but now that I watching it unfold in my neighborhood, I can’t describe the blackness I now see in the hearts of many Americans and their judges and politicians.
