Oh yeah, I agree. I think it’s dumb to expect everything to get better overnight. The fact that he’s done as much as he has is amazing.

He’d campaigned on reining in the NYPD, but as soon as he was elected he specifically started praising them and hasn’t done anything to curb some of the… well, more problematic elements. It is assumed that they threatened him or something, because him doing nothing about them goes against his supposed worldview and what he campaigned on. It’s very well possible that the realities of being in office or just that his ability to affect things as Mayor isn’t as powerful or robust as he’d thought. In any case, it’s one of the few elements of his campaign he’s gone back on.

What better way to ensure elections never happen?

Honestly, given how he capitulated to the NYPD, I’d imagine he can’t do much. I somehow doubt he would be allowed.

And nothing of value is lost.

Machines can not, and will not, do everything. A lot of manual labor, sure, and media companies already don’t want to pay photographers or writers. However, people don’t go for that shit nearly as much as AI companies believe. When it comes to manufacturing, there’s only so much machines can do before a human touch is required. Hell, just the fact that we have a damn brain and two eyes is more than many machines. We’re creative, curious, and willing to take risks. AI can only do what it’s told, and there are only so many edge cases that can be scripted in before it’s just easier to get a person to do it.

In essence, if they can’t control their own oil, nobody will. Good on ‘em.

Too bad he always chickens out of offing himself.

They need to be swarmed by a mob, drawn up, and hanged in a public place.

No. I want them forgotten about and suffering. All the power they have, reduced to literally nothing where not even their pained tears will warrant so much as a thought should they reach any ears.

No power to affect their lives in any way, shape, or form. Nor to affect anyone else’s lives. Not anymore. All their wealth, distributed according to those that need it most. Their ability to change their surroundings reduced to simply adding more of their own blood, shit, tears, and snot to the floor. Their ability to manipulate removed, as nobody will be anywhere near to hear them.

All that they lust for, gone. And they’d live with that for a few days before they dehydrate, unable to drink anything resembling water. Their bodies slowly wasting away as they digest themselves. All that they wrought visited upon them as simply being forgotten, and with their ability to affect their own and others lives removed.

Fucking Nazi scum. Toss ‘em all in an oubliette and let them dehydrate and starve to death. Their screams would be music yo my ears.
