I find it very strange and risky in general that they had EAC implemented and working during their big open tests, but then suddenly implemented a different & untested anticheat before launch. They disabled Linux on the new anti-cheat, but it’s more crazy in my mind that they wouldn’t expect a whole lot of new implementation issues to crop up after swapping such a major component.
