The House will no longer vote during the final two weeks of September as previously scheduled, sending lawmakers home early ahead of a competitive midterm election.
Apparently, they think highly of their chances in the midterms. Otherwise, they’d be staying around to do as much as they could before getting kicked out.
I mean, there is going to be. The federal government really doesn’t have an enforcement mechanism they can use. However - it is going to be a shitshow with tons of laws broken, mountains of lawsuits and most likely violence.
Even after the US goes full dictatorship, there will still be “elections” … where the dictator and his cronies just happen to win every time with 95% of the vote, because they’re so popular.
