We have a partial port of GrapheneOS to the Pixel 11 series after a week of work on it. We're unable to complete the port due to lack of support for ARM hardware memory tagging in software, firmware and near certainly hardware. It appears Google cut an important security feature to save money.

I got a good deal from my provider on a new Pixel 10 when the 11 was announced. I’m glad I jumped on it. I’m rocking a new Pixel 10 with GOS and I am very happy with it.

My 9 went screen death mode weeks back and I was sorta forced to buy a new 10 (at least on pre-11 sale price.) So there’s that. 😮‍

Damn, Pixel hardware is straight trash. Had to give up my Pixel 4 XL because of the spicy pillow (bloated battery) issue, and gave my Pixel 6 Pro to my cousin because it had shit-tier signal reception due to its dogshit Tensor Exynos chip. On the 8 Pro now, and that seems to have been the most stable of the Pixels I’ve had.

Can’t wait for Motorola to be my next phone.

In a perfect world, GrapheneOS would post here or on Mastodon.

I would still rather a link to Bluesky over a series of crappy screenshots of a thread on Bluesky. At least you don’t need an account to read it over there.

        GrapheneOS does post on Mastodon:

        https://grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS

OP just linked the BS post rather than the Mastodon toot.
