*American christians. I’ve yet to hear any European christians claim they’re persecuted. In fact quite a lot of the more liberal christians in Western Europe are very much pro LGBTQ+ and outspoke against right-wing-populism. A larger church in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt just organized a concert against the AfD.
I wish Christians were persecuted anywhere near the extent they claim to be.
It truly bothers me that our response to God believers is “We have to respect them” and our response to trans people is “They are delusional!”
When it should be the other way around. After all Transpeople and gender dysphoria are real and measurable. God is neither.
I’m tired of these people who worship deities tell me there’s no such thing as trans. That I am not a woman because “God doesn’t make mistakes.”
Newsflash - If God was real the existence of birth defects proves he does make mistakes.
