sorry to yuck your yum, but that’s not how they worked. it was a tiny, transparent screen on google glass, about 10mm tall and 20mm wide. a waveguide pumped the image at a refractive layer in the bit that sits in front of your eye, allowing you to see the projected image on top of the real world.
