    Way to admit you never even intended to read the article by reacting as if the article somehow portrays the Taliban as good or not having numerous serious ethical and political issues lol.

      The way how this is framed is an attempt to normalize such a regime.

      It just fits to your pro-China propaganda stance. China is Afghanistan’s largest foreign investor, not in the least as Beijing depends on the stability in the region for its so-called Belt and Road Initiative. A crisis or political instability could threaten this initiative as well as China–Pakistan Economic Corridor.

      The linked article is an attempt to downplay the Taliban’s atrocities, while downplaying severe human rights violations that can’t be denied by framing them as things the regime “failed to achieve”. This is a slap in the face to the people in Afghanistan.
