It’s even more hypocritical than that, unfortunately. The conservatives on my local neighborhood app said these soldiers didn’t appreciate or understand what they signed up for when I brought this up. They chalked it up to being weak willed. It blew my mind how quickly they turned on the troops they so loudly support as soon as it meant shielding Trump from criticism.
