I mean honestly? As a developer, yeah that tracks. We do stuff like that, too. Not exactly this thing, but we have raw logging we can look at as part of a support inquiry.

Of course this being Microsoft there’s a good reason people immediately assume the worst, but at face value this seems to be a reasonable explanation. I had a look in the directory and the files in there are all just text summaries of various diagnostics, like which process prevented sleep states the most etc. Makes sense.
