I agree. The problem is the blurring of new/opinion/propaganda.
We have Truth In Advertising laws, which prohibit a company from making false claims. Fox News has won multiple lawsuits by claiming they aren’t really a news program, they are an entertainment company. That’s fine, but then they shouldn’t be called “News.” A News program should be expected to adhere to accepted neutral journalistic standards, which FoxNews does not. If they want to call themselves FoxOpinion, or FoxConservative, or Fox Politics, etc., that’s fine, but they shouldn’t be allowed to present and promote themselves as news.
