Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville called for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to be arrested and sent to the infamous American torture prison at Guantanamo Bay. Mamdani’s crime? Calling indicted alleged war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu an “architect of genocide,” responsible for a series of atrocities in the ongoing war on Gaza.
“Sooner or later,” Mamdani will “do something more stupid than what he’s done, where we will finally say enough is enough, go put the handcuffs on him … and send him to Gitmo,” Tuberville, a Republican, said, calling Mamdani a “thug.”
Sure. If he actually has an arrest warrant out for him. WHICH HE DOESN’T. Do you know who does? BIBI!
Even if there was an arrest warrant, Guantanamo is still a concentration camp and not a rule of law prison. So sending an American citizen there would still be fascism.

I wouldn’t call it a concentration camp. That refers more to things targeting mass groups of people.
This is a selective prison camp for political enemies and anyone deemed “useful” to torture for information
Its a fucking concentration camp. It holds political prisoners, WHO COME FROM ONE SPECIFIC PLACE ON THIS PLANET, who have never had a day in court for their accused crimes. ITS A CONCENTRATION CAMP.

To me a concentration camp is for larger scale imprisonment.
