And again you will ignore the lessons of the past and again be outwitted by Republicans. I sucked down the bile to vote Harris like I did with Biden including to Hillary. Biden won because the COVID response blew up in Trump’s face but not enough people seemed to remember it to bother voting amongst even the liberal base.
You might have but millions of people who voted Biden decided not to vote in 2024 and I saw the left-wing campaign on social media telling people not to vote because the DNC and RNC are the same.
And again back to the same argument, is the left an inconsequential voting bloc or do their votes really matter? Because you’re doing what I said, blaming them for the loss instead of trying to identify the actual cause.
People are tired of incremental improvements at best, they’re needing change because this is where we were being led regardless of who was in charge. It just happened sooner with the Heritage Foundation getting in power fully. They’re actively making life worse and people may start to realize it’s a cyclical problem. Getting the Republicans to be a non-starter of a party is the first step, second step is more progressive policies and politicians in the Democrat party. If they resist heavily, then do to them what we did to the other conservative party.
I didn’t call them an inconsequential voting bloc I called them a largely useless political bloc mostly due to infighting, purity testing and low voting rates.
When you choose not to voice you take your voice off the table because there’s no reason to listen.
There’s as much reason to listen as disenfranchised voters have as much to say and because they don’t vote doesn’t invalidate it. A lot of black people didn’t vote when given the opportunity for the longest time for a multitude of reasons. Did their voice not matter then?
I’m saying that people who didn’t vote still have a valid voice to be heard where as you say ignore it. Sometimes those reasons are minor, sometimes it’s major that neither party fulfills.
I blame the people who voted for Trump or the people who didn’t vote.
That’s how a democracy works.

It was similar to what you’re saying now.

No offense but are you comparing the struggles of leftists to the struggles of black Americans?

Im not saying to ignore anyone I’m saying why would a party go after a person who won’t vote anyways?
I’m definitely not trying to compare them to a historically oppressed and enslaved group of people.
