Sure, and he would have done far more good investing his billions into the city that he “loves so much”…instead of lavish lifestyle, huge black-tie galas, hooking up with boys from the circus, and techno-vigilantism.
But that’s not the point of the metaphor. The point is, even if he was misdirecting his energy, the intent is there. We killed that in favor of an actual comic book villain.
