Just because a racist politician attacks a politician if not being racist enough doesn’t mean that’s why he lost. We need to stop censoring conservatives views and feelings above those of their victims. The fact is going right like centrists do reduces voter turnout among the left wing people, not in the people you argue with online because they’re typically highly politely engaged but the people who barely show up to vote at all I need to feel like it’s even worth it to bother. Candidates to the left of your typical Center trash have been winning a lot and they’re not even doing all that much they’re just not being total pushovers for fascism
Biden was elected president in 2020 but even that did not stop Trump from having two terms in office somehow. Buying really shut the bed by not Prosecuting Trump for the January 6th attack. If he had put him in prison it would have undone the terrible Legacy of Ford pardoning Nixon and healed the nation far more than what actually transpired which has only created more divisiveness, hate, and harmed the most vulnerable people in our society, which Biden didn’t seem to care much about
Sure, Biden did a terrible job on those topics and others during his office. I’m not sure how this comment is supposed to refutes the point I made, which was that “far left” policies like the prior status quo on immigration wasn’t that influential on Biden’s electoral odds in 2020 seeing as he won and probably wouldn’t have in 2024 given the issues with inflation, grocery prices, and the genocide in Gaza.
But he certainly would have lost in 2024. Kamala Harris who foolishly said that she would do nothing different than Biden despite the GOP’s strategy to link her to Biden lost after replacing him.
I don’t disagree that he would have lost in 2024 even without the obvious sundowning. But that’s largely independent of the border though. Inflation, food prices, and the genocide in Gaza were all far more influential issues for voters.
No, moving too far left. Trump continually attacked Biden for his border policy.

They’re winning in blue areas. They will not win in purple or red areas.
Biden was elected President over Trump in 2020.

The economy as always was the top issue. Border security was probably second.
