Look at the number of Trump voters that missed every red flag that was glaringly obvious for many people.
Some of course are trying to justify after the fact… but there are a lot that legitimately missed the signs because they either didn’t see it, or thought it was just regular “politics”.
Talking about it openly already creates a big diplomatical issue and embarassment for Israel, which might very much be his main goal.
That’s exactly what they were saying.
