They mention a “350 foot gash” in the liner. I’d be interested to learn how and why someone managed to cut that far, underwater, without being seen

Surely it couldn’t have been the presidential motorcade driving over it, must’ve been a leftie with a knife definitely

Exactly. Don’t believe one syllable that comes from this administration. If it’s good news, it’s a lie. And if it’s bad news, it was far worse before they lied.

These people are far too stupid, ignorant, and incompetent to ever DO ANYTHING right.

Was this before or after Trump had his fleet of vehicles in his motorcade drive through the emptied Reflecting Pool?

Also, bravo to the libs. They were able to successfully snorkle through the Reflecting Pool completely undetected, cut the liner with razor blades, then escape without ever showing up on a single CCTV camera or by a single witness in the middle of one of the busiest and most populated areas.

Ever see paint peel? It often peels in straight lines. It’s not a razor but because of the molecular structure of paint and how it “settles/spreads”.

And like how cracks and fissures work. It’s always lines. That’s physics.

“70 fence posts” thrown in the pool? Seems real weird. AFAICT protesters pushed down a temporary fence and threw bits of it into the pool. I’ve thrown stupid stuff into a vinyl-lined pool. Even punctured a bit that was costly. But I don’t see how that would cause big sheets of coating to float up all over.

Article references the below screenshotted official US Park Service post on Xitter (jfc)

Apparently there are 30 seconds of grainy footage of someone vandalizing. Pics appear to be of a woman, middle of the afternoon, among lots of other people. She doesn’t actually get into the water so even if she sliced a bunch of caulking on the sides … again, I don’t see how she could cut 350 feet(!) like that, and even if she did, it doesn’t explain coating floating up all over the pool.

The “wanted” poster says that particular incident occurred on 6/19.

The article states someone slashed the pool on 6/9, while it was still being refilled from the original renovation.

      They are not connected events.
