    I don’t think she did it to prove a point, I think she used what she’d done to forward “the cause”

    This is one of those cases where I don’t give a fuck about mental health. You kill a kid, you deserve to die. I don’t care what the underlying issue is.

      Can we just make mental health issues more easily cared for? So maybe the next person gets some post partum screening, supports, and doesn’t kill their kid?

      Well, maybe if you took a moment to try to understand the motivations of this person you could acknowledge that there’s a chance that this could have been avoided if the mother had better mental health support.

      As I said in my first comment, mental health isn’t an excuse and she’s still a murderer. She needs to face justice for that.

      However, understanding the circumstances that led to this provide an opportunity to avoid similar things happening in future.
